Mercedes discontinued the twin-turbo AMG V-12-powered G 65 back in 2017. That was partly because, at almost a quarter of a million dollars, demand wasn’t all that high for it. On top of that, the thing just wouldn’t handle right with all that weight up front, and was a stain on the company’s emissions. Then came the new-generation G-Class with its independent front suspension and modern steering system, yet there is still no G 65 in sight. Luckily, German tuner specialist Brabus knew where to start on this platform.
