Clear coat checking (Crows Feet)

I just bought my uncles all original 1993 Mustang GT with 12K miles on the clock. It is in excellent condition but I’ve noticed that the clear coat is checking in a few places. They call it crows feet because they look like a bunch of tiny straight line scratches. Is it a good idea to get it repaired or am I better off leaving it be?

Personally, I would leave it original as long as you can. It is only original once, and some minor aging is not the worst thing.

Thanks for your input, Kyle. I’m going to leave it alone.
