Crisis-If You need a tow

A friends parents car broke down yesterday and they needed their car towed. Their tow truck driver was happy to tow their car but told them that because of the crisis their company policy is now that no one is allowed to ride in the tow truck, leaving them stranded on the side of the road! Fortunately their son was available to come get them and take them home. I was planning a long distance solo fishing trip in my '79 truck but now must consider all aspects of the current situation as it relates to local travel much less longer trips whether in my later model daily driver car, much less one of my classics. Much to ponder regarding risks related to leaving home right now…

Interesting. Might be worth asking dispatch when setting up a tow. Lucky your friend got picked up!
