Brendan McAleer is an independent automotive writer and photographer based in North Vancouver, BC. At age 8 he learned to drive stick shift in a Land Rover Series III, and he spent his youth beneath a 1967 MGB. He has been grease smudged ever since. He is a member of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada, and he writes for the Globe and Mail newspaper, Road & Track and elsewhere. For us he has the story of Pierre and Justin Trudeau — father/son prime ministers with a shared love of the Mercedes 300SL. It appears on page 44.
