A decade before this, there was the Jaguar XJR, with the supercharged 4.0 liter V8. Tuned CATS suspension, Mercedes transmission and close to 400 hp. The X308 chassis cars benefited from an influx of Ford cash and were very reliable.
These cars still scream and are quite the bargain now.
