If the GTO wasn’t the first muscle car, then what was?


You know the name of first muscle car? It was the Pontiac GTO, of course. Right? Depends on who you ask.

The 300s were a performance car to be sure, but by definition it is not a Muscle Car. A case can be made for the Buick Specials of the mid thirties as they got the big 8s from the full sized Buick in a mid sized car.
