RoadTrip Preparation - Spare Parts | Hagerty Articles

Last week we talked about which tools you should consider bringing with you when you venture out in your vintage car. I proffered my opinion that, even if I was just tooling around on a Sunday morning to buy milk or a newspaper (wait, do people still do that?), experience has taught me to bring along a basic set of tools.

Excellent article. I am readying a car for a cross country trip. What can possibly go wrong with a 1957 Imperial in say 5k or so miles??? We shall see!! It’s all about the adventure. If I get to the edge of town then I’ll aim for the next town, then the next then… one town at a time… At least the trunk is 4 times the size of most cars today so I can pack almost an entire engine with me.
