The man who designs the future drives a ‘72 Chrysler Imperial

It’s been 36 years since the sci-fi cult classic film Blade Runner foretold a future of homicidal synthetic humans called “replicants” and flying cars known as “spinners.” That future was supposed to be 2019, and today’s cars, though much faster than 1982’s, are still on the ground. Maybe next year.

That is a very sweet ride!

LOVE the rendering of the 1960’s Imperial “Blade Runner” style!!!

LOVE Imperials… My aunt and uncle always owned them til 1975 buying a new one every 2 years… I would babysit their house, and answer their business phone growing up… and would wash their cars… Oh how I loved those cars… Their last one was a 1974 - Dark Charcoal poly with White leather… STUNNING CAR !!.. Then… their next car in 1976 was a new fully loaded Brown Seville… It was Very Nice… But it couldn’t hold a candle to their last Imperial… Which luckily stayed in the family for another 20 years in another aunt and uncles garage…
