This Ferrari 330 P2 replica owes its running gear to a 1965 330 GT 2+2

Before Ferrari’s 330 P3 ran and was beaten by the GT40 at Le Mans in 1966, Ferrari’s prizefighter was the 1965 330 P2. In anticipation of the upcoming Ford v Ferrari film, which will be released nationwide on November 15, Hagerty’s main office in Traverse City, Michigan, is hosting a recreation of one of these beautiful Ferrari 330 P2 racers, which is partially based on a 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2.

To my eyes, the P4 is one of the most beautiful racecars ever, though like the 250GTO, each has detail differences. I could be mistaken, but I think I’ve seen this car in the McQueen/LeMans documentary, owned by David Piper…not sure who built it but I also recall that a shop in New Zealand had a project like that underway a while back.
