Weekend car spotting

Here are some of the cars I saw in and around Seattle over the weekend. What did you see?

First is a BMW (E36) Alpina B6 2.8 Touring. On British Columbia plates it appears to have been imported from Japan and is one of 140 made. The car was parked out front of Group 2 Motorsports.

New users can apparently only put one picture in a post so I’ll add the next in replies.

Next is a Porsche 928 at The Shop, which is a new member garage and restaurant combination in S. Seattle. I believe the color is Cassis Red Metallic.

Third is an excellent condition Ford Mustang II Mach I. Complete with T-top and an aluminum trim dash.

Fourth is a Triumph TR8, which is parked down the street from a TR6.

Last is a new for 2018 color, a Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 in Ceramic Matrix Gray, which is between white and silver. The car was at The XXX Rootbeer Drive-In in Issaquah where Taylor Madison had a Hagerty tent for the Corvette Marque Club Seattle show.

This is a great thread @jwiley thanks for sharing.

That Mustang II is something else! I love the slot mags to top it off.

The BMW Alpina is pretty cool. I love how unique it is.

Some from this weekend. Mercedes-Benz 500E W124, Volvo V70R in Flash Green, Jaguar XJ-S V12 HE with (some) Euro lights, Jaguar F-type coupe, Porsche 993 C4S.

Land Rover Defender 90, Saab 9-5 2nd Gen, BMW 2002, Mercedes-Benz Gelandewagen, Cadillac CTS-V.

First generation Corvette in downtown Royal Oak, MI.

Some from last weekend. Someone who really likes 1980s Mercedes-Benz, 1983 Saab 900 turbo, C7 Z06, and Triumph TR6, which is down the street from the TR8.

Some from this past weekend. Top to bottom:
Volvo 780 Bertone
Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16
Mercedes-Benz 300CD W123
Triumph TR7

Some other interesting cars hiding in the background in these shots
Alfa Romeo Milano
Jaguar XJ6 X300

Sunny day but the theme is Grey Market
At the local specialist shop Group 2 Motorsports there is an Alfa Romeo GTV6 916. RHD on BC plates.
Also, a Nissan Figaro

Well, not exactly this weekend, but a couple of weeks ago:

Not something you’ll see everyday, a mid-60’s Ferrari 330 GT at a local glass and dent repair facility getting a new windshield. And:

Early 60’s Studebaker Avanti on 4 flat tires seen on a recent business trip.

That Ferrari 330 is a neat car! Nice to see it out being driven. Too bad about the Avanti though.

Here are my two finds from this past Friday:
Land Rover Defender 110 and its neighbor an early IHC Scout hiding under boxes and other stuff.

I like the color on that scout. I wonder how complete it is, those are doing well lately.

I saw this custom Beetle in a parking deck downtown Grand Rapid. Pretty neat.

I saw this 911 Saturday morning. It might be a real Carrera RS 2.7. I’m asking around to see if anyone knows the car. See if you walk around with your phone in your hand, but aren’t looking at it, you have time to almost get a photo of a car driving past. — Turns out this is not a real RS but it has real RS flares and a 2.9L MFI motor. Apparently, the June 2017 issue of the early 911 registry Esses has an article about it.

Here’s my addition this week, a Volvo PV544 and this nice 1963 Imperial. This guy works near me and daily drives this car ,rain, sun, or snow.
