Winter Storage - Car Storage Preparation


For many, the first snow of the winter has already fallen, and winterizing the beloved collector vehicle has suddenly become top on the priority list. My boyfriend wants to build a styrofoam box all around my 1971 Opel GT, inside my apartment garage, with a lightbulb inside the box to keep the car at a more or less constant temperature over the winter. We are in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Any opinions about whether this is a brilliant storage idea or a disaster waiting to happen? Thank you!
